Hip, not hippie.

Whether you are vegan or simply environmentally conscious, the fashion industry needs a change for the better.

Our handbags are vegan, made fairly by women in Geneva and materials are organic. No leather, no plastic.

Our first collection has launched through a crowdfunding campaign where our first collection was available. We are now working on launching our second collection as well as experimenting with different plant-based materials.

Unique and sophisticated, our bags are designed in capsule collections. Our first model, the Peacock Lady, is a limited edition which was available through Kickstarter and is made with a natural leather alternative from pineapple leaf fiber, Piñatex® (PETA approved) in Paprika colour.
The inspiration behind the Peacock Lady is a will to ally Nature and the Human kind. Combining the grace and feminity of the woman with the royalty and pride of the peacock, we stand up for our values: Equality, Fairness and Respect towards all life on this planet.

The Peacock Lady can be used both as a clutch and with an adjustable strap. There is a zipper under the cover to make sure your valuables are safe, and a little pocket inside. The paprika colour is the perfect twist to your winter wardrobe but as a timeless piece, it also brightens your spring and matches your summer tan flawlessly.

We are currently working on a range of accessories to fit the Peacock Lady bag, and will also soon launch our second collection. Are you ready for it?

On November 16th 2017 we launched a crowdfunding on Kickstarter. Only five days in, we reached our initial objective and in the course of a month we managed to double it.

This success allows us to start the production for our first collection as well as designing our second which will be fit a more neutral style. You will be able to get our bags on our e-shop soon, sign up to our newsletter to be kept up to date!

Why we refuse to use leather

Stella McCartney is a great inspiration, so we thought we’d share a little insight on why we refuse to use leather or fur. In the next post we will share more about why we refuse to use plastic.

Our first collection

Zero Cruelty. Zero Plastic. Plenty of Style. Made of pineapple leaf-fiber, our first collection is the perfect twist to your winter wardrobe. A timeless piece, our Paprika Red also brightens your Spring and matches your summer tan flawlessly.

We are Natacha, graduate of the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne and Selena, Master of Luxury Craftsmanship from the Ecole Cantonale D’Arts de Lausanne.

We first met over coffee at Bad Hunter, a vegetarian place in Lausanne, Switzerland. Die-hard recycling specialists, environmental activists and meat avoiders, we were both angry not to have other choices than leather or plastic when it came to handbags. We’d have some vegan options, often made of new plastic. Or we’d have some recycled plastic options, made in China. There was so little we could find that really conveyed our values, and these few pieces we’d have to import from across the world.

This is how Allure Sauvage was created. Allure represents the pride and elegance we both look for when choosing our clothes and accessories, and Sauvage the relationship we have with nature itself.

We aim to only use natural materials and turn them into hip things, not hippie. As well as being vegan and without plastic, our bags are fair: we collaborate with a geneva-based workshop helping women back into the professional life, awarded for their ethics and sustainable development.

We launched a crowdfunding on November 16th in which we managed to double our initial objective! Bags were purchased and you will be able to buy them again on our e-shop very soon. Sign-up to our newsletter to be kept up to date!
